We’ve done a couple new thing in the last month.

the main thing is garage band. As a class, we worked with garage band for around a week. It was mainly just looking at how to work with the interfaces, and insert, and edit loops.

we also worked with a program called “CoSpaces”. A program/ website that provides tools for simple 3D creations. It had a built in physics engine, and set of controls that we could edit. It also had a large set of premade assets that we dragged, and dropped into the project. There were also things like signs, and animations, and text that you could attach to each item. Using this i was able to make simple things like houses, and animals that ran around.

After this, there was the tutorial project. Considering no one in the class had made a tutorial on garage band, and we had just worked with it before, I decided to make a comprehensive intro to that. My process started with uninstalling garage band, and reinstalling it, so I could see what a new user would see. Then I took notes, explaining how to navigate through each of the tools, and interfaces in the order that others would see them. Im Planning on making a more refined draft of those notes, and then I plan on recording the audio, and visuals, and then I plan to edit it all together.
